JAPJI SAHIB COURSE
At
KUNDALINI YOGA DENVER
3401 W 29th Ave, Denver, CO 80211
Join Ek Ong Kaar Kaur and Simran Kaur at Kundalini Yoga Denver for a One-Day Japji Sahib Course!
As Kundalini Yoga teachers and students, Japji Sahib is the first thing that we recite in our Aquarian Sadhana.
Through this One-Day Japji Sahib Course, we can reach a deeper understanding, appreciation and connection to the wisdom offered in Guru Nanak’s Japji Sahib.
Japji Sahib offers a very universal teaching about the nature of the Cosmos, the power of the human potential and how to understand one's own identity.
As a young man, Guru Nanak disappeared
for three days, nowhere to be found. He emerged, transformed, his awareness one with the Cosmos. From this enlightened experience, he composed the Japji Sahib
as the foundational philosophy of Sikhism -- a universal spiritual vision of the potential of the human race.
• Pre-registration: $125
• Full registration: $140
The workshop will include teaching segments, chanting, and Kundalini Yoga meditation.
Ek Ong Kaar Kaur Khalsa-Michaud
In the years before Kundalini Yoga Master Yogi Bhajan left his body, he personally worked with Ek Ong Kaar Kaur on a translation of Guru Naanak’s Japji Sahib. As per his instructions, Ek Ong Kaar Kaur continues to translate the writings of the Sikh Masters into English.
Ek Ong Kaar Kaur is a Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer in the Aquarian Academy, who specializes in the connection between Sikh Dharma and Kundalini Yoga. She also serves as a Minister of Sikh Dharma International. Ek Ong Kaar Kaur has recently married her high school sweetheart, Dr. Patrick Michaud, and shares her time between Plano, Texas and Espanola, New Mexico, USA.
Ek Ong Kaar Kaur has authored a beautiful translation of Guru Naanak’s Japji Sahib which you shall receive at the course.
She has also translated the Anand Sahib and Sukhmani Sahib.
Simran Kaur Khalsa,
As a Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Sikh Dharma Minister, she was fortunate to have the privilege of working for several companies under the supervision of Yogi Bhajan - The Siri Singh Sahib, and had the blessing of a personal connection with the Master.
Right from the start, Simran Kaur felt a strong resonance with the teachings of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh Holy Scriptures. Her connection to the Guru brought great transformation in her life and awakened her to her soul connection, and the frequency of the Divine Infinite Truth, of Sat Naam.
Through her interfaith work, as a Sikh Dharma Minister and Representative of the Sikh Community, she deepened her knowledge of the Guru's scriptures, and continues to study and learn.
She teaches the "Songs of the Guru"-- an exploration of the Sikh teachings and the use of Kundalini yoga to support those teachings in Boulder and Denver.
